What’s the difference between the Cloud and Desktop apps?

SocialBro Desktop (Chrome and Adobe Air apps) is the free version of our tool, while SocialBro Cloud is designed for Pro users. In the cloud version you don’t need to update your account by synchronizing it, as the system does it for you periodically. On the other hand, the desktop apps (Chrome and Adobe Air apps) require manual synchronization.

In the desktop versions all your information is stored on your computer while with SocialBro Cloud this information is stored on our servers. When you install one of the desktop versions, you can only access your account from the computer where the app is installed. However, in the cloud version you can access it from any computer.

Which version is more suitable for me?

If you manage large Twitter accounts, we recommend you use the cloud version, because with this version it’s not necessary to synchronize the accounts, which means that you’ll save a lot of time. Also, if you want to access your SocialBro account from any computer the best option is the cloud app, as the desktop version only allows access from the machine you installed it in. In any case, you can try one of the desktop apps for free and then decide if it’s ok for your needs or if you prefer to upgrade to the Pro version.

Which browsers support SocialBro Cloud?

SocialBro Cloud is currently optimized to work on Chrome, Firefox and Safari, but we’re working to support all browsers very soon.

Can I export my SocialBro Desktop history to SocialBro Cloud?

So far it is not possible, but we are working on it. Meanwhile, your new history will start when you signup for first time on SocialBro Cloud.

Which Pro plan works best for me?

We offer four different plans, structured to cover all your possible needs according to: number of contacts, Twitter accounts and sources, plus number of users to take into account in the Best Time to Tweet report. What’s the Premium Plan?

In this plan, dedicated to all you folks who take Twitter seriously, the total number of followers and friends of all added accounts is 10,000. With this package you can add two Twitter accounts. The maximum number of sources (competitors’ accounts, searches, lists and text files) is five and the Best Time to Tweet report is generated based on your top 500 followers. What’s the Professional Plan?

The Professional plan gives you more privileges as it’s designed for freelance professional users, who usually manage more than two Twitter accounts. So, this package allows users to have up to 10 Twitter accounts with 50,000 social contacts in total. What’s the Business Plan?

Companies and small agencies will find this plan very suitable for their needs, as we’ve designed it with them specifically in mind. They can have up to 200,000 social contacts and add up to 30 own Twitter accounts. How does trial work?

If you have applied for the trial, you will be able to use SocialBro for free for 15 days. In the trial version you can only analyze your account and some default sources (competitor, search and lists). Once you complete your payment you will be able to analyze any source that fits in your plan. After your 15-day free trial you'll be asked to pick a plan and enter your payment info. This is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. If you cancel before the end of a billing period, you'll retain access until that billing period is over.

What does the synchronization do?

Through the synchronization process you get updated data about your Twitter account (new followers, unfollows, people you’re not following back, etc.). In the Cloud version, the process is automatic and you don’t need to synchronize your account as the system does it for you periodically and notifies you when it’s ready. However, in the desktop apps you need to do this manually to update your account.

What is the Best Time to Tweet report?

This report lets you know when your best time to tweet is in order to reach and engage your community more effectively and efficiently. Depending on the plan selected, the Best Time to Tweet report is based on either your 500, 1000 or 5000+ most relevant followers. The free version analyzes only your top 100 followers.

What is a Source?

“Source” is an important concept in SocialBro. Our tool lets you manage, explore and analyze your Twitter account. However, many times, knowing all about your account is not enough and for this reason, SocialBro allows you to add more sources. There are four types of sources: a Twitter account not owned by you, a Twitter list, a text file or a Twitter search. In the same way as with your account, you will be able to manage and analyze any of these sources.

What are my "Social Contacts"?

Your Social Contacts are your followers plus the people who you follow (friends) plus the contacts from any Source you add to SocialBro. So for example, if you have 2000 followers and 150 friends and you are analyzing a competitor with 10000 followers and 5000 friends, your Social Contacts are 17150 contacts.

What if I pick the wrong plan?

No problem. You can switch plans at any time. Pick the plan that seems to be the best fit and give it a try. You can always upgrade or downgrade later.

If you upgrade or downgrade you will be reimbursed the proportion of the remaining time of the month and charged the new plan from this date forward.

Any contracts or commitments?

Nope. You are charged monthly and you can cancel at any time. If you cancel before the end of a billing period, you'll retain access until that billing period is over, but you will not be reimbursed.

What are my payment options?

The online payment method is Paypal, which lets you pay by credit card or through your Paypal account.

Is there an annual plan?
